I have lurked since almost the beginning, and have enjoyed the informative
posts. I thought I would offer up my little "what an idiot I can sometimes
be" story about the Suncoast. My wife and I travel to LV 2 or 3 times a year
(always Super Bowl weekend) and our home casino is Sunset. We do like to go
for a day or two to some of the other properties, and we prefer the local
casinos. So last year we stay at the Suncoast and after an afternoon and
evening of gambling (we are VP, BJ, and craps players), the next morning on
the way to breakfast I ask a pit boss for a coffee shop comp. He looks at me
strange, but writes the ticket. It wasn't until I saw the $.99 breakfast
specials that I realized he must have thought "What a cheapskate."
