While we were leaving the Suncoast tonight, we discovered that nearly every machine between the escalators near the parking garage and the sports bar were out of service, including the Bonus Deuces progressive. Also, most of the chairs looked like they were to be removed. We asked personnel what was happening. We were told the carpet was being replaced. I said, "Darn, I thought maybe you'd be bringing in some decent games," and was told "ha ha ha." I dunno -- replacing the carpet when Red Rock is opening a month from now? Like, "Boy, I really like the carpet here at Suncoast now. Let's keep playing here instead of going to Red Rock."

yep they are replacing the carpeting there this week. not sure how
long it will take, but it will definitely affect specific areas at
times and you won't be able to play in those areas.
i would imagine it will be completed by Friday since that is St.
Patrick's Day and the only "official" 2X points day of the month.

If you play at least $10K coin-in per month, you monthly mailer usually
has a two-day period when you get double points. For March, it was 3/6
& 3/7...in February it was 2/9 & 2/10.
Maybe this is what the original poster was referring to??

that is exactly what i meant Don.
i get two-days of 2X points every month as you described. of course
there are many other players who do not play enough and thus do not
get the "extra" 2X days.
