Yesterday I received the $5 September locals mailer from
Suncoast Casino instead of the $25 mailer that I expected.
Today the slot club representative there told me that there
was indeed a major mix-up in the mailers but they haven't
decided yet how it will be resolved. She looked at my account,
agreed that I deserved the better mailer and added my name
to a list. Nothing will be done before Sep 1, when they may
decide to remail or reissue the mailers at the slot club. If
you got the wrong mailer, they recommend contacting the
slot club on or before Sep 1.
Main Street Station also had a problem with their September
mailers. A week ago I received one set of coupons addressed
to my spouse and me, whereas we usually receive two
individual mailers. To their credit, within a week they
sent out corrected coupons with an apology.
By the way, the Suncoast mailer says they have extended the
"Pay with Your Points Special Discounts" through September
30.
