If the Suncoast really wants to compete with Red Rock, these
machines will last awhile. Everyone knows that regardless of the
full-pay designation, these machines can crush players with ease. I
had not seen this topic before I went to the Suncoast today to
collect some winning SB bets. I was actually shocked to see these
machines after coming down the escalator. At 10AM, none were being
played.

This reminds me of the old Key Largo. They had full pay machines near the
front door so tourists from Terribles would hopefully see hand pays as they
entered. Once I was sitting next to Randy.d and one of us was getting a hand
pay. The attendant said, "We don't make much money off you guys."

Well said. It can't be a coincidence that six of the machines are at
the base of the escalator, and adjacent to an outdoor exit. I seem
to recall that last week, they were Deuces machines. And it can't be
a coincidence that nearby, there are the 9/7 Triple Double Bonus
machines. These machines had always been by the oyster bar for as
far back as I can remember. In fact, those machines might still be
there, but now there is no reason to even walk all the way to that
far corner to find out.

It almost makes me think someone in operations is reading this
board. What are the odds of that? Very possible. Even a 5th grader
will know that some percent of something is better than 100% of ZERO.

If this bank of FPDW near the garage escalators is the same bank that until recently had .25 NSUD, the last time I played them (about a month or so ago) those machines were slower than slow. I'm in no hurry to go back.
