Same with the $10 and $25. Went from $270 for $ point to $180.

Yup, I checked $5. The $10 was in use quite a bit.
Question of the day: Saw a gambler playing three (3) $1 PE machines at
a time. Does this make any sense for an AP player?

yes. Playing more hands/machines at a lower bet is "better" than fewer hands at a higher
equivelent bet-- the normalized variance is lower. (I am assuming also that the AP
beleives the play is positive for him/her). Back in the day when the $5 and up machines
where 1pnt/$90, it was common to see folks playing (and waiting to play) the $10 and $5
machines next to each other in the sky casino. Given the time it takes to pay jackpots, it
turned out that you could acheive higher coin-in/ hr playing those 2 machines than the
$25 machine, and do so with less normalized variance. Ok, I've probably said too much.

I understand getting to the long run by playing more hands but can you
really play more hands/hour with 3 of the $1 PE machines compared to 2
of the machines? I was watching him and it looked pretty confusing.
Don't know the hit on accuracy for him but it would mess me all up as
alcohol is usually involved.

Friend "D" asked me to repond. He plays 3 machines not to play
faster than 2, but to slow himself down and play more accurately. He
is a congenial fellow and if the machines were all in use, gladly
give one up to a nice non-smoker. [He has medical issues which make
him sensative to smoke.] As well as slowing him down 3 machines
increase his rooting interest. Anyone who refers to 7s as Micks and
8s as Yazs must be pretty tolerant to all.
