$20 seems to be the going rate. (Certainly, I've heard of no one being fronwed at for that amount.)
Consider $15 the bare minimum that might be considered adequate.
I'd tip $20 if there's significant luggage or you're a regular. $10 if it's
just you with a carry-on.

I'm probably NOT doing it right, but I tip two amounts, depending on pickup or drop off. I tip $20 when they pick me up because they have to park and stand around for 1/2 hour or more waiting for you and then the even longer wait for the luggage if checked. Then they help you with your luggage out to the limo lot. When they take me back to the airport, its just a quick drive and drop off, so I tip $10 on this. As I understand it (I am always comp'd) the limo rides cost $40, so I am tipping 25% on the quick drop-off and 50% on long pickup.

I guess they may all do it differently -- with MGM, especially on a Friday night, I have a greeter by the escalators coming into the baggage area, he/she helps me with my luggage and then takes me to the limo where I meet the driver. So that's two to tip -- I tip the first one $10, probably too much, and then $20 to the driver.
Then at the casino, that's another story. You have the greeter there who meets you at the limo and takes you to the vip lounge -- I've had the same tuxedo'd guy for years now and I tip him $20 -- he gets all my show tickets for me so I don't have to wait on line and is very helpful.
I can understand your thinking though about the return trip, but I still tip $20.
Heading there this Friday for the ACM awards show. Hope my luck is better than in AC.

Thanks for some good insight. We have a greeter also at the Monte Carlo that takes us straight up to our "Hotel 32" room and I think I will increase that tip. We are coming out this Thursday also for the ACM show (my wife loves Reba who is hosting). The MC and Belagio (where we both had ACM offers) both ran out of tiks, so we will be trying to scrape some up when we hit town.

Hi Dave, Have a great trip! Hope you get tickets for the show, I also have tickets for the Brooks and Dunn taping on Monday night. I am a true country fan!! This will be my 6th ACM trip! Sorry they ran out of tickets, I get my request in as soon as I know the date of the show.
Hang around MGM on Sunday afternoon, they are always trying to sell or buy tickets while we are waiting in line. We have to be seated by 4:30 so the line starts before 3.
Good luck -- see you in Vegas!!!
Carol
