I seem to remember a show about dealers on the Travel
Channel which mentioned dealers in Vegas normally
start out at minimum wage plus tips. It also hinted
that good dealers at major hotels can command a higher
salary.
Tips given to dealers at the tables are combined and
evenly divided among the dealers on duty during that
shift, so I can imagine at a larger casino this could
add up to a fair amount.
