People are rude. I know I can be rude to the person who is being rude. I was
playing some VP at Castaways once, and this lady had her purse sitting on the
VP chair sitting next to her. I wanted to play the machine, but her purse
was sitting on the chair. So, I stood in front of the machine and started
dropping coins in. She said nothing. About 10 mins later, I was getting
tired of standing, so I just sat down on her purse. She still said nothing.
Two minutes later there was a security guard asking me what did I think I was
trying to do. I said, "Playing this machine". The security guard told the
lady I was sitting on her purse, and she says, " She is?" and then gave me a
very rude look and snatched her purse back.

ILast night, while playing at the Fiesta, I saw a situation that
really bothered me, and I am curious what others might have done in
the same situation. I was playing on the slant top quarter deuces
next to a couple. The man hit 4 deuces, left the machine without
getting a payout (simply left his jacket there and put a cup on top
the machine) moved one chair away to the other side of me, and
proceeded to play for more than an hour at that machine, leaving the
original winning machine tied up and of no use to anyone else who may
have wished to use it. I felt this was extremely inconsiderate and
rude, and tried hard to think of a mild and non-threatening way to
ask why he felt he should leave the machine sit like that
