Stupid Royals: Ever Happen to you?

Have you ever hit a royal that you DIDN'T want to hit??
I did this weekend (well mom did actually)
ALLLLLL weekend we had been playing 50c; mostly 10/6 DDB, but also 9/6 JoB (Just because we were getting absolutely DESTROYED on DDB)
So then late sunday night, I was playing JoB, and mom said "I'll just put in a $20 and play nickles to pass the time [I suggested video keno, just to pass the time] Since we had been playing 50c on one machine, switching off every time we were either up or down $100...
Well, you know what happened...I notice she stopped for a minute, so I looked over and she said "Damnit, I hit the Royal."
ARGH! ALL weekend playing halves, and NOW it decides to hit on 5c! Measly $200 (considering I was down $1000)
I managed to get UP $200 on my machine and cashed it out, being a total of up $400 (down $600) and called it a night.

You're a bad boy, Tim! Any royal is better than no royal. And considering how the RNG works in these machines, any pause to change games, insert money, etc. changes what the outcome would have been had you just been playing straight through....Maybe no royal at all.

That's $200 more than you had.....

Maybe next time you should start out playing nickels, then change over to 50 cents!

Congrats,
Mike

Agreed. Never turn up your nose at a royal. Even a 5¢ one. haha
