Well, in a strange way, Rob Singer bought me a couple of beers. Using his
technique, I managed to get up early and left town after 24 hours a
winner. In years past, I would have pounded the machines over and over to
make certain that I could add points to my account. I'm much happier with
the money.

However, a few more beers would have been okay.

Congrats,

The RS method does work once in awhile. So does several other "take the
money and run" methods.

Trouble is the "let's leave before we have too much fun" method does not work
for me.

There is definite value though, a psychological one, when leaving town a
winner. I do it all the time. Being able to use a black pen instead of a red one
when reconciling the trip is a positive.

If you were playing the Edgewater River's Edge Bartops allowed you to move up
from quarters to $5 without ER penalty and even without moving stations.
Heck, what is the worst you can play on those things...9/7/5 DB at 99.1%?

Glad you met your goal.

I checked out the RS method and if I remember correctly, following his
exact instructions, I had 7 complete wipeouts from 9 sessions, as a
friend of mine says, 'any system and a little luck goes a long way'
... I used to play craps several years back, and I came up with a
sure fire system requiring a substantial bankroll and modest win
goals, sure enough in the first 30 days of playing in the casino with
real money I won $11,500, I was king, then for some strange reason the
next 30 days using the exact same sure fire system I managed to lose
$10,500. I decided that I wasnt ready to take a chance on the next 30
days and called it quits. With any progressive system it only take 1
or 2 losses to wipe out all the small wins and then some. Good Luck
all RS betters, you will need it.
