Caesars has an amazing display - will be on Sat. June 30 this year. The
problem is finding a good place to view it, since it will be over the pool
area/Garden of Gods. If you happen to have a room at Caesars this weekend and no
invitation to the fireworks (invite only), you can ask for a room overlooking
the pool area. Otherwise you might try the front of Caesars, though I think
you might not see much if any (probably area in front of Augustus tower?),
or better yet, the back area along Flamingo Ave. (beyond the Augustus tower)
which might have a straight line view into the pool area.
I don't know if the top of Caesars Parking Garage might work or not.
Unfortunately the event is invitational only -- barbeque and fireworks, and
apparently sold out. If you are a regular Harrahs player, hopefully Diamond
or 7*or more, you could try to beg a host to get you in just for the
fireworks - but I have no idea if that would work or not.
I don't know if there are any indoor areas that have a window out to the
pool. I vaguely think the fireworks were set off from the back of Caesar's.
