Park Place Upgrades the Connection Club
From this Strictly Slots article:
Worse yet, while they have no problem complaining to their neighbor
(or whoever will listen on the Internet), they are reluctant to
discuss their concerns with their host.

Who, moi?
At any rate, this enhancement to the Park Place comp system is
absolutely jaw-dropping. I can recall no other instance where a major
casino has added a player benefit without taking much more away.
I was not a skeptic by nature, but all my interactions to date have
hardened my psyche with a sour anticipation of any NEW casino benefit.
Yet I can say from direct experience that the new comp account has
borne out exactly as promised. And for the RFB player, the new
effective comp rate is the highest I've ever seen.
Forgive me if I keep waiting for a swift kick in the butt to follow
:). Should that not prove the case, you can count on Park Place
properties getting the lion's share of my play (provided that my wife
and I can get into the premium restaurants when we want -- I somehow
expect they're going to become VERY popular).

I made the LVH my core casino more than 5 years ago. Most everyone thought that was a mistake. They said I should stay downtown in some dingy place or in a local casino so I could play FPDW and beg for comps. Since I have always thought, and still do, that DW is the most boring game in the VP inventory, and the fact that I normally do not play anything below $1, I stayed with the LVH because of the highest cash back in LV, a great host that gives me a suite and full RFP along with many other goodies (I have never been turned down for anything I have asked for), and the fact that LVH does have some FP VP games at the $1 level, I know I made the right decision. While everyone else is now scrambling to get established, I have that warm fuzzy feeling knowing all I have to do is pick up the phone. Now -- if I only can find a way for them to comp by laundry bill, it would be a truly great place.

If it's charged to your room, I wouldn't be at all surprised if you
can use your "discretionary" comp account to do just that (my term for
the supplemental a/c). Of course, given some confusion reported at
check-out in applying this new account, it might be best to
pre-arrange that with your host if indeed it is eligible.
