sections very often contained blatant errors and contradictions. And
these errors were never acknowledged or corrected in subsequent

It's painfully clear that proofreading is an alien concept to CP-SS,

Amen. Their attitude is more self rightous by the issue. CP always has
adverts. from snake oil salesman (e.g. Power Roulette, "the best kept secret....")
with accompanying articles saying there are no systems. The Best of issues are
b-o-r-i-n-g. Love the entries like the luckiest casino!

Well then(and I'm addressing this question to ALL; not just you),
what are the GOOD Casino/Slot/VP Magazines?

The answer to this question is Especially Helpful at this time of
year, as many of us are either wanting to put(a subscription to) a
Good, Worthwhile Casino/VP mag on our "Christmas List", buy(a
subscription to) one for a gambling friend of ours, or both!

So, if not CP/SS, what others ARE good and worth getting(for
ourselves or others)?

A good tourist magazine for LV with reviews of restaurants, casinos and hotels, and has good information on deals, promotions, etc, but rarely does it get into the specifics of a given game's strategy.

If I was looking to give somebody that likes to gamble in Las Vegas a gift of a magazine subscription, the only one that I would consider is the LVA. I believe that all the others out there are not worth the paper that they are printed on. If someone is looking for strategy information they can get a subject specific book, or a software program, or check out the Wizard of Odds Web Site.

Avery Cardoza has just put out a new "Total Gambling Lifestyle
Magazine" (their description) called "Player" that is very slick,
chic and sophisticated mag.
Although the premiere issue is mostly broads, booze and betting,
some of the articles are worthwhile reading.
   Check it out at www.cardozaplayer.com

I would agree that LVA would make a good gift, especially if the POV were included. I simply thought it relevant to point out that it had a different focus than other magazines under discussion.
