Does any one out there have any ideas on how to possibly smooth out
the bumps in the deuces game? Such as , playing two machines, playing
with a partner , playing faster or slower during streaks , I promise
not to ask for mathamatical proofs.

We just got back from a weekend at Primm last week. Had one of the worst "streaks" we've seen in a while. My estimate is about 15000 hands played on FPDW. No royals, not even one deuces quad. Yet somehow managed to hold our loss to under $300 on a quarter level.
The only redeeming aspect of the trip was that the casino host comped us to the show at MGM Grand.. Cher... seats right off the stage including limo to and from LV. That sort of "smoothed" out the streakiness.
We've talked to a lot of people and no one has found a way, mathematically or emotionally to smooth it out. It's the nature of the beast. I've gone trips with 15K to 20K and never hit quad deuces, like the last one. Other trips, same amount of hands, I've hit 6 or 7 quad deuces. Went about 160K hands without a royal last year, and another trip hit three in 36 hours elapsed time, only about 8 hours of play.
As you might have already surmised, playing with a partner/spouse/friend only doubles the situation and we have found it to inevitably work more against us, or seem to during bad streaks. Good luck and I'm sure others will all have similar input. I have a friend that's even got a "rally monkey" to rest on his machine. <G> I won't mention his name as he's on the list. :>

And let me tell you, the monkey was no help at all.
I was on vacation, but the rest of the week we didn't go anywhere. People
are still getting sick on those ships, so we just ate spoiled food at home
and pretended we were on a cruise.

Guardun~os is very good. It is 'New Mexican' style
mexican food which is both very good and not very common
outside of New Mexico. Most entrees are under $10.
I am almost certain you can use the LVA 50% coupon.
Their buffet and coffee shop are more or less OK, but
somehow the selection at the buffet and the menu at the coffee shop
seem a bit strange. I have not eaten at the others.

Unless you are joined by several friends, a much better choice is the
Blue Agave. It shares restaurant space with Gardunos, but it is an
oyster bar offering excellent pan roasts, gumbo, bouillabaisse etc.
Video poker is just plain streaky! I live here in Vegas and play most
days when I am in town. I have had 27 royals this year but none in
the past two months with approx 100,000 hands played. I've had three
royals in an afternoon, five in a two day span and then can go for a
couple months without a royal. It's not a very good feeling to
continually lose for weeks at a time but it turns around.
I had dinner at Garduno's and it was very good. I read recently that they Americanized
their menu (toned it down in spicy-ness) but it was very good. I had the grilled
chimichanga and loved it. The shredded beef was very flavorful and it was the first one
I've ever had that wasn't deep fried. I would definitely eat there again..

Just a warning -- sometimes Little Buddah is fantastic, sometimes inedible. My own experience was my meal was extremely greasy and rather unpleasant, my date's was to die for. I've spoken to a couple of other people with similar experiences. In compensation they offered a free dessert, not a replacement meal.

New Mexico. It's intended for tourists/visitors that probably couldn't

Hmmmm. First of all, the chimi is almost by definition a deep fried
burrito. Second, chimis are originally from Arizona and Sonora MX.
They're good, but are not really New Mexican food. OTOH Garduno's flat
enchiladas are definitely New Mexican.

We tried to help you. My wife gave you one of her hairy trolls and you
gave it back saying that it was tainted with her good luck, but not yours. I

it still worked in the reader. This may act to slow that damn RNG down to
seed the initial deal with two deuces. Are you using that card full time? I

I thought I was the only one to do that. I reserve it for when I've missed a play [i.e. didn't hit the key hard enough and it doesn't hold <sigh>] I then use the unargueable logic that since I messed up all future RNG, that I need to get it back in line, or to at least change it again so that I won't curse myself the rest of the day/trip and attribute it all to my bad play or misstake.
At least I'm not superstitious like some of the others around here. :>
