Streakiness of this game
Great. I've seen both sides recently. I'm about 80,000 hands without a royal currently. However, in less than 12,000 hands last spring I hit three Royals on FPDW, all of them two-card draws... and... all of them hearts...

Hi. Bob Dancer wrote a column about this in Casino Player a year or so ago. He described a drunken honeymooning couple that won $10,000 on a dumb move, while he was feeding $100 bills into a machine with no luck. He said, in the long run, it is better to be good than lucky. In the short run, lucky is better.
