The rooms in the Stratosphere are middle of the road. I would say they compare favourably to other mid level Vegas Hotels.
I would say they are equivalent to the standard tower rooms at the Stardust, or standard rooms at Sam's Town.
My biggest complaint about the Stratosphere hotel rooms are the long distances to the Ice machines. On the plus side the rooms are well maintained and kept clean, the beds are comfortable. There are many elevators and getting to your floor is always quick.
If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay you will not be disappointed.
Since you are new to this group you may not yet have discovered the "Source of all knowledge" The vpFREE databases.
At the bottom of this and all notes is a vpFREE hyperlink, this will take you to the casino databases. Explore and learn.
To start you off .... Here is the direct link to the DDB cross reference. .....

Subject: [vpFREE] Stratosphere
I am new to this group. I booked 3 nights online at the Stratosphere through
Vegas.com and the room they reserved for me was a king-bed "premier tower
room". What the heck does that mean? I went to the Stratosphere's website and
looked at their room types and none was a "premier tower room".
So my question is, how are the rooms there? Decent? Technically, I won't be
in there much.
2nd Question: What is the current best casino for full pay DDB?
Thanks to all who reply.
