I enjoy Jean's posts and columns so much I'll be buying her practice program. I'm sure it will be very useful. I didn't know about it. I enjoyed seeing her on Caesar's 24 too - a highlight to an otherwise difficult to watch show, haha. I've been playing on freeslots.com. They have a video poker game that you can set to tell you the right strat play or warn you if you make a mistake. You can select double payouts so you make tokens no matter what but it still tells you how you would have done on a real machine in the stats to the right of the game. Best thing, after practicing you can turn in your tokens for a shot at winning real money. If anyone is familiar with them or wants to take a look I would really appreciate an opinion of if their trainer is doing me any good or may even be bad. I'm a total newbie at VP. Thanks! johnny

If you are going to continue playing vp (JOB or other games)
the most expensive thing that you can do, and a sure way to
wind up a loser, is to NOT purchase either Bob Dancer's Win
Poker or Jean Scott's Frugal VP. THey are both GREAT programs
for newbies and oldbies, as well.
I bought the 1st edition of BDWP immediately after it became
available, and then bought the 2nd edition when that became
available. On a personal level, it has helped my game and my
won/loss record, immensely.
As I recall, the cost was about $50.00, the best $50.00 I ever
spent!
