Penalty cards are probably influencing the correct holds. If you
aren't interested in playing that precisely right away, you can
change the error settings on Winpoker so that you won't get so many
confusing error messages. When I'm just starting to learn a new game,
I usually change the "Ignore Errors that Cost Less Than" from 0.00
cents to 3.00 cents or to the same as whatever the minor error
setting is. Click on "Training Modes" at the top of the screen, then
"Error Settings" to get there.
You may want to purchase Tom Ski's Video Poker Strategy Master to go
along with your Winpoker program. It will generate strategies
charts. The basic strategies don't have any penalty cards and
advanced does. You can order this and download it right away from
Dean Zamzow's site.

I have a stradegy question about DDB. When using BDPW in warn mode
and being dealt a hand like As-Kd-Jc-3d-7c I hold the As and dicard
the rest , I get a statistical error message sometimes and other
times not. I guess my question is when dealt a hand containing an
ace and two high cards, all unsuited, what is the proper play.
