Strategy Help

I've been practicing a version of Triple Double bonus poker that
pays 35 for a flush. Of course it's jacks or better. Winpoker is
telling me to hold four to a flush over a high pair. Does this make
sence to anyone. We don't do it in 10/7 double bonus.

As Karen alludes, the cut pay on 3 of a kind (10 cr. rather than 15)
reduces the value of holding the pair considerably.

Like Karen, I avoid this game. The paytable you note has a
respectable return. However, Double Bonus usually satisfies my
craving for volatility and a very occasional foray into Double Double
is as far as I'll stretch. This ride of this game is enough for me to
bite a hole through my lip and prematurely wear down my molars :).

I too avoided this game. On Sunday I was playing a session at Fiesta
and was not doing anything on any of the games. I switched to Triple
Double figuring to maybe play $40. I was on .50 level. As luck would
have it, I hit 4AAAA for $2000 so I'm hooked! It's certainly not my
main game but I figure to play it here and there when I'm on a roll.

Triple Double Bonus
A few things about this game:
a whopping 98 variance.
Hold the kicker with dealt trips, A-4's
VPSM shows holding kicker w/ trip A's but not the 2-4's, this is
usually a 9 pt difference. (This is the only major flaw I've found in
VPSM)
Triple Double Bonus is a losing game. Stick with DB
stu in sf
