strategy cards

I have used most of the Strategy cards out there. I prefer the one's I can
make with video poker strategy master. I copy them and make any changes
that I want, tape them to a 5X7 card and laminate them. I make them for all
levels of progressives for different games, as well as obscure games I may
run into.

FVP can also make cards, but I see no reason to switch when I am satisfied
with what I have. Besides, I feel pretty loyal to Dean Zamzow and Tomski
for the development of their landmark programs!

I agree. I like VPSM because TomSki clearly defines the hands. For
intsance, in a non-wild card game he will show that four to an open
straight is 2345-789T (89TJ, 9TJQ, TJQK are listed separately because
of high cards). Conversely, in deuces wild, where there are no high
cards but being too close to the deuce makes 3456 an inside straight,
he lists four to an open straight as "4 to a straight open, but not
3456". VPSM is very explicit about what constitutes open straight
flushes and the like, also. The Dancer cards have some kind of -1, -
2 terminology to save space, which I find unclear.

The strategy cards in FVP I do not like at all. In deuces, a four of
a kind with two deuces is not listed as a four of a kind, but as two
deuces plus one pair. Too weird for me.
