I'm not sure what the problem was, something about it should have shown 1000
as the countdown - presumably that is $10 or 1000 pennies; but it was set
for 500 instead. So the machine showed 2x the correct number of points on the
countdown of base points. But actually the correct number was going properly
to the account.
So when I saw I had 2000 base points, I really only had 1000 base; and that
was what was transferred.
It is unclear to me if any of this affected bonus points, because you don't
see those until you take the card out. Presumably bonus were also correct
(seemed to be).
