Still no Royal..... But better!!!!

Took a chartered flight from Amarillo to Laughlin's Riverside.
Played quite a bit of Duece's Wild. Only found full pay at River Pallms and
did worse on those than the NSUD's around.

Found a game called Ace's and no Faces. Played a while after a session of
Texas Holdem one night. Wanted to show my wife how they worked the next day.
Machines were all taken, but finally one came available and my wife grabbed
it for me. Played about $40 through and only had $7.50 left when I was dealt
AA4AA. Bells started going off and in less than a minute a guy said sir I
need your driver's liscence and SS card. I realized then it was a big
payout.
Paid $1975.
Questions:
Has anyone figured out what the ev of this game is?
About the W2G. Never had one before. Can you claim the expenses of the trip
against it? How do you prove you lost $500 addidtional before that? Used a
slot card all the time.

I had a Royal Flush 15 years ago at the Horseshoe on the "Texas Holdem Video
Poker machines. They took them out and I bought 5 of them. Still have one of
them. I've gone 15 years without a Royal Flush; I go to Vegas at least twice
a year and should be due for another one soon. Guess this more than makes up
for it however.

( By the way....... Got a Royal Flush playing $2-6 Texas Holdem the night
before. Got a hat for it. They had promotions at the Riverside of High Hand
one hour and aces cracked the other. Each paid $50. Well I had both. Only
each in the wrong hour. LOL)

Many congratulations on your win and wishing you many more!

I don't know about applying your trip expenses, however you can definitely apply your losses.
If you used a slot card you should be able to get a win/loss statement from the casino before
you do your taxes. As for the other questions I will leave it to those far more mathematically
experienced than I to tell you what the EV is.

Brad,

I have only seen one pay schedule for this game. Dealt 1 to 4 aces are a
bonus. After the draw the final hand is paid. If you are dealt 1 ace (and no
face) you get 5 coins. If you draw 3 more you are paid an additional 400.

You were dealt 4 aces and no faces for 7500 coins. Then you were paid an
additional 400 coins for 4 aces. http://videopoker.fws1.com/aces.htm
