Still dancing

Dan continues to make a big deal about this. He believes I slandered
him. I believe that I was explaining how video poker knowledge is a lot
better today than it was ten years ago.

I certainly agree that VP knowledge is much better today. (Gee, he
had to go back 11 years to find something I supposedly wrote that
bothered him?)

We have all
gained a lot in knowedge since then --- Dan and me included. And that
was the entire point of the original article. It wasn't personal ---
except now Dan chooses to make it so.)

But you didn't make that point in your column. It was clearly a very
personal attack.

You could say volumns about video poker (and you have) without having
to denigrate other writers' work. I'm not the one who made it
personal.

To date I
haven't received the last three issues of 1994. He did send me an email
saying he's attaching them, but nothing was attached. I accept this
might have been inadvertant, but the fact remains that I haven't
received them.

I have tried to communicate to Dan that there are no winners in a
pissing contest. Perhaps someone else can explain it to him better than
I.

I e-mailed the three additional issues he requested at 11:04 this
morning, plus three issues preceding that. His e-mail above was
date-timed as 12:41, an hour and a half later. I still have a copy of
that e-mail in my out box, and the issues in question WERE attached.
Since the earlier e-mail with 18 issues attached clearly made it
through, it seems strange that this one would lose the attachments.
Did he really not receive them, or is he backing off because he
didn't find what he wanted to find?

Bob, if you really didn't get them, he can let me know, and I'll send
them again.

Dan

Dan, they're not attached. If you want me to respond to what you wrote,
you're going to have to send them.

I can't believe it. What the heck is better knowledge in vp today. It
ain't rocket science guys. The deck has the same two and a half millon
hands. The right play is the same today as it was 20 years ago.

Here is an example of what is sometime wrong with forms like this one
and others too. Make one statement that someone attacks and over a few
posts the whole concept is twisted. Many times the attacker will snip
one sentence and leave out other sentences that change the whole
meaning of thought. This whole thing reminds me of Ali when he was the
greatest. I wonder, could this fight be staged to drum up book sales?

Now how's that for a twist?.....Jeep
