sticky buttons

I went to MS yesterday and while playing deuces wild I was delt 4
deuces but the first button was sticky and it did not hold it .I
called the slot attendant who ofcourse said there was nothing wrong
with the machine so Ilost $1000 .Should I have done anything else?

I have read several postings on motherboard on this situation.
The machine stores the last 10? hands.
In your type of situation, untrained (customer service) slot
attendant says no way; gambler request supervisor; supervisor
(trained in customer service) calls for technician; technician shows
the hand where 4 ducks are dealt; $1,000 paid to gambler.
Of course, that's Nevada where you can appeal the "sticky" (poorly
maintained) button to Gaming Commission. MS has a "Gaming Commission"
as well. But its really the bad publicity that shakes their bones;
like what happened at Greektown when they trespassed several folks
simply for being lucky.
