Steve Del Nero

Those of you who knew Steve will be saddened to hear he passed away yesterday in Las Vegas. He had been struggling with cancer for some time. You may remember seeing him at the Orleans, the Suncoast or most recently for the last several years at he Rampart.
He has been my partner and companion for over 30 years and will be sorely missed. There will be a viewing and memorial service at the Palm Mortuary on Cheyenne probably next Wednesday afternoon.

John,

Sad news. Sorry for your loss. Remember meeting you guys at the Orleans Skip Hughes group meeting at the fpdw in 1998.

Oh John, this is so so sad. Brad and I send our deepest sympathies. Please post the details of the memorial services when they are finalized. We will definitely want to attend! We remember meeting right after you all moved to Vegas. In fact, I believe we corresponded by e-mail even before that – and we have counted you and Steve as good friends all these years.

I believe I met Steve at the Gold Coast during a 2005 VPFree lunch? I'm sorry for your loss! As I get older, more people I personally know are passing!
