I will be staying at Palace Station Turkey Week. How are the rooms?
Any preferences I should try for? How much is the cab fare to
downtown? Thanks, Ray
Staying at palace station
I stayed at Palace Station year's ago, before I was married. I had a room on the top floor of the tower, and it was pretty nice. The package included a couple breakfast buffet's and dinner at the Italian place.
I hear the garden rooms arent nearly as nice, so you want to ask for the tower. You may have to pay more.

My experience was not good. I decided not to get a "tower room" and got something else. It was the cheaper room and was right on the interstate. The traffic noise is quite bad. Room was old and pretty beat. Not really even that clean. I would try and get the tower room, even its a little more if I went back. I remember the bed was pretty old too and very uncomfortable. I have not stayed in a tower room, but they said they were newer.

On the postives, they were fairly generous with comps and they have a good VP selection. Never had a problem getting access to a full pay machine. Hope this helps. poochiekr4536l <poochiekr4536l@yahoo.com> wrote:

-- Definitely stay in the tower rooms. Although some of the garden
rooms have been renovated recently, they are very small, and as
Nelson noted, if you get stuck with the interstate view, you'll need
earplugs or lots of liquor to sleep. The VP isn't great, but there
are some playable games, and every once in a while, the bar top
progressives creep up into positive territory.
