STAY AWAY FROM NEW YORK, NEW YORK and don't picket!

What??? Really??? Where do the pickets go when they
want to picket a property that they are officially striking???
If I remember, in the past they were on the strip sidewalk. . . . .
does that mean they could have been arrested and/or tossed off
the sidewalk?

The strip sidewalks are private property, they can and will arrest you
for trespass.

I've heard of this happening, Sam's Town a few years ago I think and

the Plaza. What if we formed a Video Poker Union and marched on the

sidewalk

with signs? Send emails to all the TV station news directors first.

Best place

to picket NYNY would be on the north sidewalk on Trop near the first

little

bridge before i15 "NYNY" on one side of sign "DISHONEST" on other

side.

I have some faded memory of the Venetian strike. Sheldon Adelson
contended the sidwalk was on his property so he had the right to throw
the picketers off of it. But he lost. I think the technical term used
was the sidewalk was an "easement" for public use therefore Adelson had
no right to pick and choose who could use it.
