How do you risk a lawsuit by doing nothing illegal?

Unfortunately, by serving coffee as hot as some customers want it, but which is apparently too hot for dummies ... or by engaging in business in the United States that eventually becomes a scapegoat. E.g., lawsuits against gun manufacturers, or the fast food industry. I can't use the tobacco industry because I believe there is evidence that, at least a long time ago, there was some deception and false advertising on their part, etc. Uhhhh ... and I think I recall a lawsuit filed by some idiot because s/he didn't like to listen to religious Christmas carols played in a store (that's right ... _private_ property instead of government property, so there is no church/state argument). And I think there was also some sort of a lawsuit over religious programming on radio. And then there are the folks who blame crime on the influence of ... let's see ... movies and television, and music, and books, and ... Awww, hell, John ... you know what it's like.
Cheers.
