About a week ago or so I booked 2 nights at Red Rock on a mailed offer thru the VIP line. I actually called to see if the Super Bowl offer could be utilized coming in on Feb 2, the day after the game. The coordinator I spoke with said I'd do better to use the offer I had coming in the mail and proceeded to book it for me. $39/night plus $50 free play. I commented that the $50 would just about pay the resort fee. She said there wouldn't be any charge since I'd be there on a casino offer and if the front desk put it on the bill, I'm to ask them to call 'upstairs' and she'd take care of it.
I do know that when I was there in Dec on a mailed offer booked thru the operator, I was charged the resort fee. Sounds like another case of being lucky enough to deal with the right person!
