Boyd is more than capable of finishing it's part of the project, as their
loans were well in place before the financing market meltdown. Of their
$2.6 billion in debt, only a measly $1/2 billion is due before 2012. The
major problem with the Echelon project was acceptable loan structuring for
two of the partners in the project, General Growth and Morgan Hotels.
Meanwhile, keep the bottled water, dried pasta, canned sauce, and the map to
the cave handy.
