Stations refusing 5x to Some Seniors

I and several of my acquaintences have been refused the 5x points for
Senior Wednesdays. (some at Stations and others at Fiesta properties).
I received the postcard mailer.
They advertize the promotion on the Billboards.
They advertize in the Review Journal every Wednesday.

I understand that they don't want certain individuals to get the
mailers or even the Senior multipler. I now average about $25000
monthy on $JB or 8/5 Bonus Poker progressives. I probably have close
to $15,000,000 coin-in over the last 15 years and have been at President level for several years.
What I don't understand is how they can advertize all over the place
and even send me an invite and then renege on it. Has anyone else
had this sort of problem.

I've got a friend that the same thing happened to him. I'm thinking that if you get no mailed then there's a good chance that the senior multiplier is gone too. The only thing left is drawings.

How about Bob Dancer contacting Stations about Station and Fiesta mailers to find out what is the policy of the future for their mailers and senior multipliers days ? Can they advertise the promotion
then deny it to a select number of people ?

I doubt that Bob will see your message, as he has not been
posting on this board for some. If you are curious, why
don't YOU call, and post about your conversation.

Can they advertise the promotion then deny it to a select

number of people ?

I don't think that it's been determined that only a "select
number of people" have been affected. Have we heard from
anyone who posted that they received the "5X senior points"?

It is possible that they've cancelled the promotion. I'm
reasonably sure that the offer was made with the standard
proviso, "Management reserves all rights".

Even if that is not case, since they are now under bankruptcy
protection law, it is possible that they are permitted to
cancel ALL on-going promotions, w/o consequence to them.

I do know that when other companies sought protection in this
manner, they were permitted to negate all union contracts,
which had been implemented in good faith.

Whatever the situation may be, if you are now leery of the
intentions of Stations/ Fiestas, why don't you make your
feelings known by staying out of their casinos, and letting
them know why!

Have they told you that you are promo banned? Did they send you a letter as such? Is there a Station that still has 9/6 Jacks? Or is that only at Fiestas?-

For Stations, only the holding company is in bankruptcy;
the individual Stations/Fiesta casinos are not.

Red Rock observations of a newby local:
I played at Red Rock yesterday (third time only) and the 5x Seniors was
working, they also are having a New 4:pm drawing at the Keno zone with 5
(seniors only) players selected, (2) 250's, a 500, a 1000 and a 1500
prize, cash or freeplay the same (no premium for freeplay), amazingly
enough I was called and picked the 250 tile (called girlfriend and she
said take #4, so its all her fault), the 5 winners go into a grand prize
drawing for the end of the month.
I am a new (July only) (local) player so I had not received mailers in
the past and have only been playing the $2 JOB on 5x days and have not
played the 100% + games to see if I would receive mailers, experiment in
progress.
I hit a Royal for 8k my first day there after making the final table in
the 10:am poker tournament (hold em) and busting out of the money (paid
5 that day). the second day I walked out with +1300, yesterday I was +
395 before the +250 drawing, so we will also test the winning player
doesn't get a mailer concept.
This will need further confirmation but it seemed that the 100% machines
that were near the various entrances were gone, (or at least the signs
were), on the few I went by to make cell calls, again need further
confirmation of this.
The cocktail staff seems further reduced and they were concentrating on
the table games so service was poorer than usual.
The buffet line was long as usual with empty tables inside, begging to
question how many Man Gambling Hours (MGH copyrighted?) management is
loosing for the want of a few busboys while people stand in line, duhh.
They also seem to have a seniors slot tournament on Wednesdays but it
sounded like this is not new.
Feedback?

I haven't received a mailer since I think March? Of course I wasn't playing there either. I had to go back last week and "earn" platinum so I could use some of my millions of points for travel bucks. I did get 5x points last Wednesday. I earned the 75,000 base points in three days and have booked our travel for the coming year. All done!

My girlfriend is getting the senior multiplier so I am playing on
her card till they stop me.

Now we know the rest of the story! Stations/Fiestas IS guilty of
discrimination, but only against a particular segment of the
senior population.

Perhaps this is meant to punish those who used to play at the
FPDW prog. bank for hours on end (when they USED to have it) or
maybe those who spent lots of time pounding away at the
FPKBJW/$1175 (when they USED to have it). Then again, their crime
might have been committed on the multi-line bank that offered
16/10 NSUD, or the dollar 9/6 JOB prog., 10/7 DB or 10/6 DDB
(all of which they also USED to have them).

I guess that we'll never know the answer.

I hope that Stations doesn't decide to punish your girlfriend, and
that you can continue to play on her card as long as you wish to do
so....and can still find something that you would like to play at
one of their casinos.
