stations policy on no mailing

Has any one tried to get their mailers reinstated?
If sucessful how did you go about doing this?
the director of marketing said I was being no mailed because I was
considered a "skilled" player , How she reached this conclusion
when I was $12000 in the hole she couldnt or wouldnt provide any
information.

Thanks for your response. I know this is good information for me to know. But I guess that's your answer right there. Playing dollar NSUD apparently means you're a skilled player and a no-mail candidate. And apparently losing doesn't matter, although winning might be a factor, at least I think winning is a factor at some other places.

Unfortunately, the damage may be done and there is nothing you can do about it now. Others may have a different opinion, but I would say there's no way you're going to talk someone into reinstating you.

Here's a possible idea, and it's just an idea, so I can't guarantee it. But when you are reincarnated and come back in your next life, try looking for progressives on games with a lower theoretical. Mix up your action by throwing in some kind of slot machine action. And I don't even know if that would work. These casinos are sure getting stingy with us video poker players. And it will probably just keep getting worse.

I'm sorry I can't give you a better answer. I'm anxious to see what others have to say.

good luck,
-BB

I have been told that they look at your history going back a few years and if you have had any constant success against them, this is how they love you more !!!!

That's interesting. I have a question, then. What do you think they would do if you had been playing only low theo games for the last few years and still managed to win? Say for instance, you had been playing 7-5 Bonus Poker ONLY and had still defied the odds and been way ahead? Or perhaps you were playing 7-5 Bonus Poker progressives and were way ahead? I wonder if they would still no-mail a player doing that.

Also, I wonder if the size of the action would matter. Would a dollar player be scrutinized more than a quarter player? In fact, could a quarter player fly under the radar?

Searched vpfree for discussion of Southpoint "no mailing."
Didn't get a hit. Are you saying SP does this nasty better than GVR?

(We have been to SP four times in 2012 having replaced GVR as our exit casino the last 2 nights before we fly home. We were there Monday and Tuesday nights. Monday was a double VP points. The joint abounded with advantage players. Some not keeping a low profile.
We have won all four time so wondering if SP is ready to stop da luv.

We got no mailed by GVR beginning of year after 6 winning sessions; ~70% $1 FPSDB; 20% FPDDB and 5-10% slots. Moved to Southpoint for last 2 nights b4 flight home. A nice joint SP is. Don't miss GVR at all.
We are NOT returning their money.
