In the new monthly mailer section I see Stations still have a
maximum level of $480 per month. Their signs all around town proclaim
you can now receive up to $700 per month. Does anyone know the required
points for this level? Just for fun I stopped by the booth at Palace
Station and asked the boothling for the play level required for $700 per
month. After a somewhat startled look, as opposed to the usual dumb
stare, I was told it is a secret and the only way you can find out is to
play and see what you get! I guess the longer I play in Las Vegas, the
more cynical I become about Gaming Control. Casinos seem to be able to
make any unsubstantiated claims they wish as customers do not have to be
provided with any specifics.
On the positive side, I received a $100 mystery Xtra Play last
week. Although the mailer says you can receive up to $100 each time, you
usually get the same amount all month long. Last month I got all $7 and
this month I had been getting $15 each time until this surprise one. I
wonder if their up to $700 per month claim is based on your being
surprised with the $100 amount on each mystery day?
