I was told, second or third hand, that when the Jumbo is won and reset
the next winning amount is randomly fixed. Every slot "pull" adds an
incremental amount, proportional to the amount bet, to the current
jackpot level. The person whose slot pull puts the level above the
preset winning level wins the jackpot. So it would seem that your
chances of winning are not independent of the amount of your bet.
