How many people rec'd the Station's ridiculous settlement proposal for
Energy/Telephone surcharges? It's a two FREE COUPONS for $3 and $2.50 off of a
future stay! (Plattner v Station Casino's Inc.).
Jean Scott--what do you think of my FRUGAL, pro per plan to remain in the
class--but to file an objection to the settlement (as the fine print says I can
do)? That way, even if I'm stupid enough pay for future rooms in order to use
the coupons--I might wind up getting a bigger settlement.
Better yet, even if I use the coupons, I can appeal the settlement to the Ca.
and US Supreme Courts! It might be a stretch to consider a further appeal to
the International Tribunal at the Hague; I can't figure out a way to allege
war crimes, yet, but I'm working on it!
The hearing is scheduled 10/22/04 at LA County Superior Court, central civil
West court house, 600 s. commonwealth ave., LA, CA. I plan on filing and
making a personal appearance. Let me know if you wish to sign my objection and/or
appear in support on 10/22.
Any comments, Bill Velek? I'm only a pro per who's a reasonably fast learner.
Rick
