Did anyone get a Station mailer and/or offers for August?
Station Mailers
I received my august mailer, I don't know what criteria they are using to
determine free play levels.
My coin in for may was 25k ,xpc was $25x10, June coin in was32k,xpcwas$25x10
July coin in was$39k, xpc was$5x14
Now in august I get $18 x10. If you know what criteria they are using
please post.

after not receiving mailers for several months and not playing last month they sent one this month...go figure...i won't play there until they have a regular policy that i can understand...maybe it will be cleared up once they get through bankruptcy court...seems like another company in town would go after the disgruntled segment of their business...

Holy crap, that's the worst I've heard yet. Please tell us what you played or what was your "crime" that got you on their no-mailer list. Heck, even if you played strictly 100% games on multi-point days, at LEAST they could have sent you a 2-for-1 buffet offer or something for that much action. This is alarming.
Please tell us what the "rest of the story" must be in your case.
thx,

There most likely is no "rest of the story".
The plain facts are that if you play only positive games, on X points days, the casinos do NOT want your action. If they check
your account, and find this to be the case, you will probably eventually be "non-mailed", no matter how large your coin-in may
be.
Under those circumstances, why would Stations send even a 2/1
buffet offer, whehn they'd just as soon not have you in their
casinos?
This is nothing new. It's been going on for a number of years.
Perhaps more players are noticing it more often, as they also
note declining CB/FP amounts, and downgraded VP pay tables.
I am hopeful that, while things may never return to the glory
days of yesteryear, the pendulum will eventually swing back and
the casinos once again feel the necessity of enticing their customers through the door.

From what I've been hearing and experiencing, if you play only 100%+ games then they will no-mail you if you play too much, so it's in your best interest to play less at the station properties.

I mostly played full pay (all less than 100%) on multi-point days. On single point days when I had free play I only played off the free play. I was somewhat lucky, had one $1 royal and a moderate win for the month. I think it's just another case of bean counters thinking that anytime anyone leaves a casino with money something needs to be fixed. They want to run a pay for entertainment business not a gambling business. To the casino owners, quoting Dr. Phil, "How's that working for you guys?"

No you described why you have no economic value to Station and they can't even justify the mailing, printing and postage costs to deal with you - just a business decision. -

Yes you are right, a business decision, that has led them to bankruptcy.

Something is wrong with this picture. Did it get lost in the mail? Have you checked your account on their website? How could they possibly not send someone multipliers and some free play after this? Doesn't make sense. If this is going to be their future policy, I think I'd rather play 312K worth of 8-5 Bonus Poker at the Cannery.
Had you been getting mailers before, or were you already on their "bad" list?
Please let us know if you have checked your website account and if this is all accurate.
thanks,

But what if you're playing these 100% games and not winning any money? Do they consider that at all?

nope, not lost in the mail, website has the same complete lack of
offers. i didn't get a mailer in july either. i did have one for june,
but my three days with the heavy play didn't happen to be the
multiplier days.

yes, it sure looks like anyone who wants to be rewarded for their play
should go elsewhere; getting bounce out of stations these days is a
very iffy proposition.
good luck,
five

Bad business decisions + recession = less people in the casino, less people in the restaurants , in the bingo halls ,etc = less money to pay down their massive dept.
Also how many of these "sharks" are not really sharks at all but just happened to hit a few jackpots on certain machines and are non mailed as a result ?
Also the out of town friends and family of these people no longer visit the casino.
I know I will no longer advise playing at a station casino to people who ask me.

Well, maybe. In Sept I have 2 free days at Red Rock + $125 in machine play. Then its off to Aliante for 3 more free days and the best "overall" pay schedules in Vegas. (overall meaning most full pay machines) So, from a players standpoint, what's not to like? What do I care how stupid they are? They're all stupid or they wouldn't all be in financial trouble. (By stupid, I mean business decision wise)

When your machine play goes to 0 and all offers stop.....
I stopped in at Aliante a few weeks ago for 3 days to give them some play to see if that would trigger any kind of mailer and you could drive a go kart through the casino and not hit a customer. New bingo hall, empty, there were about 13 BJ and other table game dealers and about 5 customers for all the tables.
The only place that had people in the place was TGIF restaurant.

That makes no sense. I don't deserve the offer I got from stations. I probably haven't played 10 hours total at all stations combined. As for Aliante being empty------- PERFECT! Nobody blowing smoke in my face or Chatting me up or unbathed neighbors next to me. If I never get another offer, it makes no difference to me. I have 10 or 12 offers from all over Vegas and always do. And I'm just a .25 & .50 player.
