Station Casinos

Never stayed at one of the Station Casinos before so booked 2 nights at
GVR and want to try one of the other Station properties for a couple nights
during our visit to LV in July. I read all the info in the database and also
on the "links" to cheapovegas, stations website, etc. What I really need is
a recommendation from someone who has stayed at the Station Properties.

When we come to LV we workout, play VP, and eat at a nice restaurant. Pretty
simple. The trips are to getaway from the daily grind and so we usually play
and eat where we stay. Currently our favorite place is the Palms but need a
change of pace. Have stayed at TI, Venetian, Suncoast, Flamingo, Palms and
Orleans in case you want to use these as a reference point

I stayed at Texas Station in March for 4 days and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of FPDW (I found them thanks to tom's Web site), great food at The Oyster Bar and the buffet was excellent as well, if you like buffets. I didn't play enough for comps, but I certainly enjoyed my stay.

GVR is certainly an upscale property that you will enjoy, the rooms there are 4 star. I have also stayed at Sunset Station and would describe their rooms as like the Orleans but with better beds.

We stayed at Boulder Station a couple of times. Their rooms were excellent with a great view of Las Vegas. They have great restaurants. We were not lucky there. That was my only complaint. So for that reason we stay downtown again.
