Station Casino's Monthly Mailers

Station Casino's monthly mailers are now based on 90 days instead
of 3 months. The December mailer is based on play from August 3 thru
October 31. Anyone who played on August 1 and/or 2 (as I did), that
play did not count. I have played at level 5 ($75000 coin-in for 3
months) or higher for 3 years or more and was suddenly downgraded.
If they continue using 90 days, we will have to watch our play on the
1st and 2nd of many of the months. After complaining, I did get
upgraded back to level 5.

When you go to the Station's website under "Tracking", is your excluded
play from August 1 and 2 reflected in your August play figure?

On Station's website under Tracking, it still lists each month with
the total for the month. My August number includes the 1st and 2nd.
I couldn't find anything on the website about using 90 days.
I don't know about Fiesta.

I wonder if this statement is precise.

If you look at the calendar of offers they send out every month, you'll
notice they often don't line up exactly. Sometimes they include a day or
two from the previous month or the following one. Sometimes they're missing
a day or two because that day's covered on a previous of subsequent month.

I just went downstairs to check the Stations mailer for December that I
have. It's from 1-31 December. OK, that's a bad example.

The Fiesta mailer for December is for 1 December - 1 January (inclusive).

So anyways, it may be that they're not doing 90 days. They may be aligning
with the days covered by 3 months worth of offers instead of 3 calendar
months.

I'm just speculating.

Level 5 get $30 x 4 plus 6-8 free play money (min $15) plus $15 at
any restaurant good for the entire month. Level 6 had $20 x 4 plus 2
less free play money (don't know the min. amount) plus $15 at any
restaurant good only Dec. 11-14 with a max. of $7.50 per person. On
vpFREE Las Vegas casinos, under a Station Casino (such as Boulder)
there is a chart listed near the bottom. This chart hasn't been
updated since Feb. 05 but it is still accurate at least for level 5.
There are 13 levels (13 being the lowest) plus Chairman.

I'm not doubting the poster's word. However, I would like some more "official" verification of this. Has anyone else talked to a casino executive. Too often the first answer given is not always the truth.

Not that a boothlings word is any better, but when I
spoke to one this evening, I was told the same thing:
previous 90 days, not 3 months.

I have had this verified by a very reliable source, who was told by a "supervisor" at corporate that this is correct and the change started last May. They never notified players, by individual letter or signs or any other way, of this change. One might not notice this unless he plays sometime on the 1st or 2nd of a month and later finds one or more of his monthly mailers have decreased.

I hate it when casinos do sneaky things like this. Of course, they can do anything they want - but a good PR move is to let players know of changes, especially when they have been doing something routinely for many years.
