Station Casinos JUMBO JACKPOT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 20, 2005

THOUSANDS WIN EVERY TIME JUMBO JACKPOT HITS BEGINNING MAY 22
Station Casinos announces enhancement to Player's Club Bonus

Las Vegas-Since its launch April 1, 2003, The Jumbo Jackpot Player's
Club Bonus has awarded 138 club cardholders over $9.7 Million in bonus
cash. Now, in an exciting reengineer of the company's successful
program, Station Casinos is taking the Jumbo Jackpot even further.

Beginning May 22, one company wide progressive jackpot meter will start
at $100,000 (rather than the previous $50,000) and must hit a Player's
Card by $150,000. But the most exciting new feature of Jumbo Jackpot
is that regardless of where the Jumbo hits, whether at one of the six
Stations or two Fiestas, every single guest companywide who is actively
playing at the time with their Boarding Pass or Amigo Club Card
inserted into their machine will win an instant $50 in slot play. To
start Jumbo Jackpot in a true Jumbo manner, the progressive will begin
at $125,000 instead of the standard $100,000, based on the current top
hot jackpot at Fiesta Henderson.

"The Jumbo Jackpot will potentially bonus thousands of guests instantly
when it hits," said Staci Columbo, Vice President of Advertising and
Marketing for Station Casinos. "So not only will one lucky guest win a
minimum of $100,000, everyone else who is playing-- wherever they are
playing-will experience a music, sound and light show alerting them
they've also won the jackpot. It's a very exciting enhancement to the
Jumbo Jackpot Player's Club Bonus. We know our guests will love it."

That's in addition to all the other benefits of Boarding Pass or Amigo
card membership, such as the option to redeem club points at eight
different locations, over 85 dining options where points can be
redeemed, and the Xtra Play Cash feature which puts free slot credits
right on the card while playing. Cardholders can earn up to $1,000
every month in free slot play for using their card.

The Jumbo Jackpot gives customers playing slot or video poker machines
at the company's six Station-branded properties in the Las Vegas area
with a Boarding Pass card inserted into the machine or with an Amigo
Club card at the two Fiestas a chance to collect a bonus jackpot of up
to $150,000, paid immediately in cash. The Jumbo Jackpot can hit at any
time, at any place, regardless of how many coins are played or the
machine's outcome.

Maybe ya'll can answer this for me. I have played and stayed at
Stations for years now (infrequently). I've never received any Xtra
play cash, and years ago the boothlebys told me it's because I'm an
out of towner. I was just there for a weekend hoping this had changed
but sure enough, no Xtra play. I neglected to ask about it and I have
a real communication problem with my assigned host, so I don't want to
ask her.

Does anyone from out of town get Xtra play cash? Am I doing something
wrong?

While there, I did encounter the phenomenon of someone on a 100-play
VP machine playing one line, one coin at a time. I thought this was
an urban myth, but I've seen it for myself.

As out of towners, we don't receive Xtra play cash at Stations. We do
receive bi-monthly mailings from Fiestas that have free play.

Hi Drew,

My own experience, at Fiesta Rancho, was different.

I live in the Chicago area, and had only stayed there on one
occasion (for 5 days). From the points accumulated (mostly
on "Optimum Banks where $2.00 coin-in = 1 point) I calculated
that I was running through about $8K to $9K daily.

About 6 weeks after I left I rec'd 2 free play offers, one
for the following month and a second encompassing that month
as well as the next month.

Though the offers were modest ($25.00 each)it was still nice to
receive them. Unfortunately, I was not able to take advantage of
either offer.

If I had a host with whom I could not "communicate", I would
politely request a different host. I do believe the casino
would honor this request rather than alienate a good customer.

I did do that at the Silver Legacy, in Reno, and was more than
pleased with the 2nd host. If they had not acceded to my request,
I would not have stayed there again.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Babe

Yes, I've received Xtra play cash from Stations, but it has been on a
very infrequent basis. A couple of times it was included with a
comped room offer and a couple of times I "won" some while playing.
My guess is that if you are an out-of-towner, you've got to play
pretty heavy and not just on positive EV games to get Xtra play
offers on a regular basis.

Hi Babe:

I am in the process of changing hosts at my preferred Station. I
found one I really like and will make the changeover when I decide
to return there in late fall. It's back to the Strip and Downtown
from now until then--gotta keep things fresh.

As for the Xtra play cash, evidently I need to focus on the
Fiestas! Had great fun at F-Henderson this trip, not least because
I was dealt a Blackjack on my $25 matchplay coupon. I was playing
the triple play progressive and noticed about an hour in that two of
the progressives had reset. I looked over and found the man that
drew two royals from a four deal and told him, "I'm happy for you!"
which, if I'm being honest, wasn't entirely true. Incidentally,
were you sitting by him?

Hi Drew,

Yep! That was me. Did you notice an Elizabeth Taylor
look-alike (the way she looks NOW, not in her gorgeous youth!)
sitting next to the lucky player? I'm nothing if not fair....
Despite the enormous luck that has been bestowed on those who
sit next to me, I have NOT raised my prices. However, as soon
as one my neighbors receives a SEQUENTIAL RF (where it means
something special, of course) I will implement a price increase.

In your case, Drew, as an old vp buddy, I am granting a lifetime
discount!

Cheers,

Babe
