Station Casinos files for Chapter 11
I've been wondering if restructering has any effect on the recent million dollar prize promotion winners, or even the prior Jumbo jackpot winners? I think the million thing was paid out in installments, not sure about the Jumbos.
In fact I was thinking about that when they had the promotions, as I knew their financial situation was already reported as troubled.
As it would suck to be "restructured" out of the rest of your prize money.

I suspect you'd be "restructured" out of your
gaming liscense if you tried. You can screw
your bondholders (my take on what's going on here)
in backruptcy but there but there some debts
you can't discharge.
Jumbo payments were made in one lump sum check....unless they made a change towards the end of the program.

This was asked and answered in the LVA QOD june 4, 2009. Provisions are made to insure payment of these types of jackpots in the case of bankruptcy.

Most of my previous posts have been re leisure trips to Barona in Lakeside right outside San Diego.
Yesterday I decided to actually play at a circular bank near their secondary slot club desk and near the gift shop.? They had 9/6 job, 8/5 BP. and 9/6 DDB as well as other games not to my liking.? You could play 25c,50c, and $1.
I managed to hit the Aces with a 4 kicker on $DDB for the $2000.? When the changeperson and later the "suit" arrived, took my id's and were leaving to do the paperwork, they said "you could go ahead and play it off".? They did not have to "key" or reset the machine.
Since I was already standing and stretching a bit, I decided that I was NOT going to play off my jackpot hand until I got paid.? My worries were not justified but it took close to 30 minutes for them to come with their paperwork.? They then let me fill in my name, address and SS# on one of the forms.? The other form(s) had been pre-typed with the info from my id's. All ended w/out any problem but I think in the future I will till keep the winning hand on the screen until paid.
Do want to recommend that in the coffee shop I had that cup of soup/half sandwich combination which also included . ? salad and fruit for about $7.? I drove up the mountainside Tuesday a.m. about 9.? It was beautiful and lunch was in the AC outer patio overlooking the golf course.
