I have had further clarification.
The individual had heavily played the Sequential Progressive at Texas,
which was eventually hit at $601,000.
He was seen conversing with others who are suspected of being a team.
He tells me that a slot exective came down to talk to them, etc
(details very fuzzy).
It appears that 25c deuces were NOT a factor.
He also played 10/7 $1 at the various stations when the jumbo jackpots
exceeded $140,000
The suspected "team" players are known, by name, by Mark Seligman, the
slot director and Mark told me, that they are people that he would
rather not have in his shop. They have NOT been barred but all
discretionary comps and mailers have been stopped.
I have also been told by another source that "big winners" are often
asked to leave. Groups are definitely not welcome, etc.
