Station 10X points, was Re: Scot Krause's LVA Bonus Points-11 OCT 2007

It also appeared on my online Station calendar.

At RR this morning, it was not shown on the Points Plus card swipe. The
booth people knew about it though, had printed promo sheets, and took my card
info for the 10X point adjustment.

I don't know if it is available to everyone, but I am assuming everyone who
receives a Stations mailer is eligible.

Cool, but I can't list that unless we know for certain that is it available
to everyone and from what we have seen so far, it may only be available to
those who received a post card? FWIW, I didn't get a postcard.

According to my reliable source, postcards were mailed to all rewards
card holders in the immediate area of each Station Casino. If you go
to the rewards center and show your boarding pass, you'll get the 10x
points.

I am NOT a LV local, but have received periodic mailers from
both Fiestas.

I have never stayed at a Stations property and do not receive
Station's mailers.

Yesterday I received two mailers, one from Rancho and one from
Henderson.

The Henderson mailer offered two free nights, anytime from 10/1
through 12/31, a 2 for 1 Buffet coupon, $5 match play coupon, a free
gift for 100 points earned, and 3X slot points, on a selected day.

The Rancho mailer offered ONE free night (be still my heart) on one
Sunday, one Monday (the other two free Mondays were past when the
mailer was received) one Tuesday and one Wednesday in October.
In November, I had 4 opportunities for a free night on Sunday,
Monday, or Wednesday. December free nights were a few selected
Sundays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. This mailer also promised
a "Special Festival Buffet Offer". No X slot point days was
included.

I then looked at my Fiesta calendar on the net, and noted that, for
FH ONLY, on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in October, I was
eligible for FIVE X Slot points. This X points offer was not
available at FR.

Interesting that the two Fiestas have such differing marketing
thrusts.

I was told by someone at a slot club booth at a Station that they were
targeted to certain areas, not sent to anyone necessarily close to a
Station. She mentioned proximity to the Silverton as an example.

I was told the same thing by the booth personnel at Texas Station.
Since I do not live in targeted zip codes, I did not get the 10x points.

Did RedRock give the 10x points to all or only to those in the targeted
zip codes?

this is true, i stopped by Palace Station yesterday for the 10x points and they said that
they mailed out postcards to only certain zip code areas.

the supervisor happened to be standing there and told the employee to give it to me anyway.
just an update to those wondering.
