State Tax Filings

Is there any publication that deals with filing state taxes in states that do not allow you to deduct your losses from your w-2G winning?

I live in one of those states (MA) that does not allow you to deduct your loses against your winnings. While I have a number of W-2G's I am a net loser for the year. Is there any publication or can anyone share a creative approach for filing your state taxes in one of these states?

Thanks
Joel

I discuss this problem at length in "Tax Help for Gamblers." IF you can qualify as a professional gambler (difficult but not impossible), that would solve your problem. Otherwise, there is not anything you can do, short of moving to a "nicer" state!!!!

I read somewhere that GVR has started a new Seafood Buffet on Sundays. I
used to go to GVR just for their buffet until they stopped offering all you
can eat crab legs and started charging extra per pound.

Has anyone tried the new seafood buffet? Are all you can eat warm crab legs
included? What else is different to the normal offerings?
