The November post stating that one or more of the MS JOB machines have
1250 Royals is erroneous, or at least misleading. All three machines
pay 4000 for the Royal, if you play at least two lines (with five
coins per line). If you only play one line, the Royal is 1250 but if
you are only playing one line, you shouldn't be playing multistrike
anyway.

I'll be checking all MS and 5PMS wherever I go and play. There is an option on these machines to limit the Royal to
1250 coins. I got burned by it this weekend at the Showboat in Atlantic City. I was playing 75 coin ( 3 lines at max ) and hit a royal
on line 1 - expecting 4000 I only received 1250. I then checked every 5PMS in the place and they are all the same there 1-99 coins 1250 royal, 100 coins = 4000 royal.

Chief, when I was there in mid-December, the middle machine had a 1250
RF on the .50 play only. All other 9/6 JB was 4000 at all
denominations. Others have reported various short RF pays over the
past year, none of which I was ever able to confirm. Perhaps, the
other reports were prompted by failures to recognize the line play
discrepancy. Perhaps I made the same mistake this last trip. It's
worth another look, especially since I'd never seen that reported
anomoly before Dec. Thanks,

Pete

I now know to check out every machine thoroughly, even if I have
played it in the past. It is disgusting to hit a royal with 5 coins in
and get 1250. DISGUSTING!!! Sorry you got burned - may it never happen
again.

Return of 98.37% by my calculations assuming less than 100 coin play.

Had you known, a safe guess that you would not have wasted your time?
