Stardust: demise of FPJW triple-play and Hilton musings

Be careful with Main Street. They'll promise to review your play - then
stick you in a disgustingly filthy room, treat you to an amazingly rude hotel
staff, and comp you diddly-squat even if you average 8-10K/day coin-in. YMMV.

You have nothing to lose by trying. Call up Main Street Station and ask to
speak to a slot host, they will probably bring you in at a Casino rate and
then comp the
room based on your play, you can get food comps as you go. My host there is
"IPO Boast" , she is very good. Once you are established there, you should
have no
problems depending on your play. Another good option you may want to
consider is Sams Town, fairly easy room comps, but they will probably want more play
than
the Downtown casinos.

Everyone is of course entitled to their own views. I can only comment on my own experience. I have been a MSS customer for a number of years.
In all that time I have never been misled on a comp, I have never had a filthy room, and if I compare the attitudes of the staff there with other casinos
that I have gone to I would say that their attitude is as good or better than any other Casino that I have played in. They are in the business to make money
and if you are a player that plays nothing but their best paying machines they will certainly not give you the same level of comps as someone who mixes it up
a little. I have noticed that they are looking for more play to maintain a level that used to require less play. Unfortunately this will probably happen everywhere.

I would agree with A.P. We stay at MSS every trip and have never been in a dirty room, had rude attitudes of staff or paid for a meal. We were just there last week and were happy with the service overall.
Ipo is always helpful.
thanks
