Stardust Comp

We are thinking about accepting free nights a tthe Stardust in August.
Would there be any disadvantages to giving them minimal to no play
since the pace will actually be dust soon?

i'm accepting 3 free nights in june and i won't play there, not vp
anyway. might play some blackjack. but as far as comps go i figure i'll
finish out the year still getting offers even with minimal play

This is based on my play at the Stardust, I don't know if stiffing the Stardust would stop these offers, buy for myself, I am not taking
the Stardust offer for my next trip which would include $125 in cash, because of that, although I considered just staying there 1 day
and playing my average amount for that one day, but I couldn't be bothered

We also received the Excalibur offer. We tried to book it but when we called and gave them the number on the offer, they said they couldn't find us in the system and would call us back. No one called back. We called again with the same result. When we checked our slot cards, we found out the number on the Excalibur offer was our slot club number from the Stardust. Obviously they don't want us at Excalibur but I don't understand how this happened.

I couldn't figure out how a totally different corporation got a hold of another company's mail list.
If I was forced to make a guess, I'd say that if both companies use a third party to create and/or distribute mailers, and they both used the same company,
then maybe somebody mixed up the mailing lists.
