You'd want to play the single line if you enjoy higher std dev. Playing the
game with the higher std dev increases your chances of getting an unusually
big winning session. For some people, that's the attraction of gambling, the
chance of a big winning session. The happiness gotten from the big up swings
may more than balance the happiness lost from big down swings. It's a matter
of personal preference.
