Went to Reno for Spring Break.
Stayed at JANugget from 4/15-4/24.
They had a good promotion going on, where for every $1 in comp you earned, you GOT $3 in free play. With .335% and 10/6 DDB (the 10/7DB's have been out of MIA for a few weeks, but they were putting them back in last night when I left) it made for a very good play.
I started off with $250 in my pocket, and $700 in my comp bank.
I came home with $1250 in my pocket (thanks for a 25c Royal) and STILL have $700 in my comp bank, and I did not skimp on meals...as a matter of fact, I've never really ate anywhere other than Rosie's cafe...but this time I ate a lot at John's Oyster Bar (I tried almost every item on the menu; not really impressed with any of them.)
Funny thing I noticed when I was there...same group of guys would play the same bank of the 10/6 DDB everyday...HARD ($2 denom, ie: $10 a whack)...I felt silly when I hit 33332 for $200...to them it would have been $1600 (One guy actually got dealt 3333x, but couldn't draw the kicker)
The only downfall was they didn't have the indoor pool/hottub open this past week...but they upgraded me to a spa suite for free, so I didn't complain.
