In an unregulated Native American casino perhaps. In a reputable Nevada
casino I find it highly unlikely they would make such a bad will gesture
to save a few dollars. Legally they could but I think they would make
good on a quad or five of a kind in a wild card game before taking the
game out of service. I will usually not hold the kicker with a dealt
quad because I would personally love to see such a machine malfunction
and assume the casino would compensate me as stated above. Perhaps if I
were playing a machine denomination over my head I would be less likely
to take the chance but then again we aren't supposed to do that are we?
