I haven't played the game yet, but it seems like there would be an ER
penalty because you cannot independently determine the best hold for
each of the 9 lines that will be scored? In other words, 9 lines
score but there are only 3 lines of cards, so you really only get to
make max-ER holds in 1/3 of your hands. The other 2/3 will tend to be
the best holds, perhaps, simply because many hold decisions are very
clear-cut, but spmetimes they may not be.

I though I had seen some of the 9 lines of cards take in two cards in
the same column - I guess not, though, as then you'd always have
pairs on thosthat way if all rows are the same. How do the 9 lines
run then? 3 straight across, 2 diagonal, then I guess 4 zigzag.
